Yes, Château 529 is fully licensed by the State of Texas Health and Human Services Commission. We maintain all required certifications and undergo regular inspections to ensure we meet or exceed state standards for assisted living and memory care facilities.
Château 529 combines luxury accommodations with exceptional care in an intimate, home-like setting. Our high staff-to-resident ratio ensures personalized attention, while our elegant surroundings and chef-prepared meals create a refined living experience. We believe that needing assistance shouldn't mean sacrificing comfort or dignity.
Care & Services
We maintain a high staff-to-resident ratio to ensure personalized attention and prompt response to resident needs. During daytime hours, our ratio is typically 1:5 for assisted living and 1:4 for memory care. We always have licensed nursing staff on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Each resident receives an individualized care plan developed by our care team in collaboration with the resident, their family, and their physicians. We conduct thorough assessments upon move-in and regularly review and update care plans to ensure they reflect current needs and preferences.
Absolutely. Residents are welcome to continue with their existing physicians. We also have relationships with local physicians, specialists, and home health agencies who can provide on-site visits for added convenience. Our nursing staff coordinates all medical appointments and communications.
We regularly assess each resident's needs and adjust care plans accordingly. If additional services are needed, we work with families to implement appropriate support. Our goal is to provide continuity of care and allow residents to age in place whenever possible.
Costs & Payments
Our all-inclusive monthly fee covers accommodation, three chef-prepared meals daily plus snacks, housekeeping and laundry services, all utilities, basic cable and WiFi, scheduled transportation, daily activities and programs, and 24-hour staff availability. Personal care services are tailored to individual needs and priced accordingly.
Traditional Medicare does not cover assisted living costs. However, some residents may qualify for benefits through Medicaid waiver programs, Veterans Aid & Attendance benefits, or long-term care insurance. We recommend consulting with a financial advisor or elder law attorney to explore all options.
We do not require a large entrance fee or long-term contract. We ask for a reasonable community fee upon move-in and operate on a month-to-month rental agreement after an initial 30-day period. This provides flexibility for families during what can be a significant transition.
Visiting
We welcome family and friends to visit any time during our open visiting hours from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. We understand the importance of family connections and accommodate special circumstances whenever possible. Please contact us in advance for visits outside regular hours.
Yes! We encourage families to dine with their loved ones. Guest meals can be arranged with advance notice, and we can accommodate special occasions and celebrations in our private dining room. There is a nominal charge for guest meals.
We are a pet-friendly community and welcome visits from well-behaved, vaccinated pets. We also offer pet therapy programs. If you're considering having a pet live with your loved one, please speak with our admissions team about our pet policy.
Moving In
Signs that may indicate it's time to consider assisted living include difficulty managing medications, challenges with personal care or housekeeping, social isolation, safety concerns at home, or caregiver burnout. We offer complimentary assessments and encourage families to schedule a tour to learn more about how we can help.
We encourage residents to personalize their suites with familiar furniture, photos, and meaningful items from home. We provide bed linens and towels, but residents often prefer their own. We'll provide a detailed move-in checklist and work with families to ensure a smooth, comfortable transition.
Our team is experienced in helping new residents transition comfortably. We recommend visiting often in the early weeks, participating in activities together, and allowing time for adjustment. Our staff provides extra attention during the transition period and keeps families informed of their loved one's progress.
